Dream Interpretation: Eggs and Grace

Dear Dreamer

The main components of your dream are three (number), eggs, box (or carton), and green mould. Numbers in any form pose a significant meaning. They convey a necessity for more organization and application of logic in your life. The number three is highly important in symbolism and represents the balance of the cosmos, in a Trinitarian sense the earth, sky and sea, or mind body and soul. The fact that one of your three is cracked suggests an imbalance in your life that needs correcting. I might suggest that you seek new avenues of inspiration, become more creative and raise your level of production in an artistic way. Eggs generally signify domestic contentment, abundance and even fertility (a good sex life), but if a dream involves a cracked, broken, stale or nasty egg it becomes a warning of some dissapointment through an unwise association or trust place in someone. The box (or carton) indicates an obstacle that is certainly possible for you to overcome, you opened the box and the problem has been presented to you in the form of three eggs, two are fine and one is cracked and mouldy. Mould (or mildew) indicates an improved condition usually financial, but mould on food (in this case an egg) signifies a lucky escape from some danger.

Overall I think this dream is telling you of a significant imbalance in your life which needs correction, and once you have brought a refreshed sense of harmony to your life and relationships then your will find a greater degree of productivity, creativity and inspiration. Look carefully at all your relationships both domestic and professional, it may be that recently you placed a trust in someone and they let you down in which case be more cautious in the future. On a physical level these eggs also indicate a new stage in your fertile life, and that fact may induce consternation or worry on your part. Your inherent beauty and intelligence is soulful rather than physical, focus on growing in grace rather than lamenting the changes in your body. Repair the damage to your self-esteem by pursuing new creative work and generate some new artistic ideas.
