I thought I saw...
A dead pair of boots,
Tarred black leather,
Discarded and limp;
Road strewn...
On the path,
Worn, rejected
Ruined.
But,
I looked again, and...
It was
A drunken man,
Kissing a brown
Bottle.
Walking barefoot;
Broken glass
For a face...
Singing
Mourning
A sad lament
For a soul lost…
On a street in Saigon.
